Project Planner provides navigation shortcuts that allow you to quickly open related records directly from the grid, helping you access details without navigating through multiple screens. These shortcuts are available across both the top (Gantt) and bottom (Resource Schedule) sections.
Depending on the row, you can use the following shortcuts:
- View Project: Opens the Project Detail screen from the project level in the top section and the root project level in the bottom section.
- View Resource: Opens the Resource Detail screen from the resource level in the bottom section.
- View Resource Group: Opens the Resource Group (Employee Group) details from the resource group level in the bottom section.
- View Allocation: Opens the Resource Allocation (legacy) screen from the Other Allocations row with filters applied for the selected resource, project, and project planner date range.
When you use a shortcut, CORE automatically applies relevant context such as the selected project, resource, and project planner date range, ensuring that you land directly on the most relevant data without having to manually apply filters.
These shortcuts help streamline navigation, reduce clicks, and improve efficiency when managing projects and resources in Project Planner.
