Income account is not visible in Activity Items

User is trying to create a new activity item and wants to associate an income account with it. However, the user cannot find the account in its Income Account drop-down.

This can happen if the income account you want to use has an inactive status in the Chart of Accounts screen. By default, CORE does not display accounts with inactive status in the drop-downs. You need to change the status of the account to Active in Chart of Accounts > Account Details so that it is visible in the drop-downs. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Chart of Accounts screen and click on the income account you want to use.
  2. In the Edit Account screen, make sure the field Status is set to Active.
  3. Click Save.

This income account should now be visible when creating new activity items. Check CORE Help Center for details on editing account details
