Why does invoice amount double for recurring invoices?

The reason for the invoice amount to double (or more) in case of recurring invoices depends on the time since the last invoice has been created. If the frequency for the invoice is set to monthly and for some reason it has been two months since the last invoice was processed, BQE CORE doubles the amount to account for both months since the last invoice.
