User is unable to make changes to a vendor bill and gets an error that the date cannot be older than the company's Closing Date, even though the vendor bill date is after the company's Closing Date.
This can happen if the vendor bill has time/expense items that are older than the Closing Date of the company. BQE CORE does not allow changes to these items and the linked vendor bill even when the vendor bill has a later date than the Closing Date. If you are sure that the change to be made to the vendor bill does not affect the closing of accounts in any way, you can temporarily change the Closing Date for your company (password-protected) from the Settings > Company > Information screen to a date that is prior to the oldest entry in the vendor bill. Then you can make the necessary changes to the vendor bill and restore the Closing Date.
