Emails sent out from BQE CORE mistaken as junk or spam

When sending emails from BQE CORE using the BQE server, your recipients might receive those emails from the address CORENotifications@bqe.com instead of your actual email ID (see below). Such emails might be mistaken for junk mail or spam.

The reason for this is that when sending emails from CORE, there are two email addresses included with the message:

  1. The sender's 'From' address, which is CORENotifications@bqe.com: The recipient sees this email address when opening the email.
  2. The 'Mail From' address, which is configured in CORE: This email address is seen by the recipient, your client, when replying to your email or when checking the message header. This comes from the Email Settings specified in Settings or User Settings.

Note: The client's email address is displayed correctly in all cases.

We have designed CORE this way to simplify the email configuration process and at the same time authenticate emails to comply with Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance (DMARC) through DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM).

You can whitelist the @bqe.com domain or the actual email ID: CORENotifications@bqe.com to prevent such emails from going into the Junk or Spam folders. You can also add your own email address in the CC or BCC fields to keep track of all outgoing emails.

Note: You should also whitelist the actual email address of the CORE user because at times the emails can have that address in the From field.
