Yes, this will be a good addition to the report viewer. For now, you can use the browser Zoom option to increase the view from 100% to, say, 125%.

Anton, please check out Task Allocation and see if that can be helpful to you. Yes, it is on the Core roadmap to link all such things as to-dos to Core Calendar.
