Time Card Approval

Hi,

We've recently switched from BillQuick to Core and we are finding that the time sheet approval process is much slower.  In BillQuick, we always approved the time sheets from the simple time card view but with Core we are finding ourselves having to switch between the time card view and time & expense reviewer window to approve time sheets.

Can we get the approve command added to the workflow pull down in the time card window?

Thanks,

Josh

  • Josh Eamon - Thank you for your feedback.  I have created a feature request on your behalf.  You may reference GAL-45345 for future updates.  If you have more feedback on how we can improve Core, you can always submit your ideas to Core-Ideas@bqe.com

  • Actually the logic behind this was that Time Card is for timekeepers and so they can enter and submit time. And Time Entries and T&E Reviewer screens are for managers. As far as I know, the security permissions are also set that way. But this can still be submitted as a feature request and it will be discussed accordingly.

  • Hi Naira, the time card view is a great way for managers to easily view the employee's time sheets weekly and it's a convenient way to approve them.  We used Deltek for many years at a previous employer and the time card view was how managers approve time sheets in that software.  It was my preferred screen to approve time when using Billquick also.  The Time Entries and T&E Reviewer screen are not as intuitive when approving individual employee time sheets - at least in my opinion.  I'll miss having it after converting from BillQuick...I hope it makes it into future upgrades of Core.
