User has a custom field and wants to change its type from Text Box to Dropdown. Is this possible to do or would custom field need to be deleted and recreated?
Unfortunately, you can't change the type of an existing custom field. If you delete this custom field, you will lose all of its associated information. The best solution is to keep this field as is and create a new custom field of your choice.
