BQE Software does not provide its customers with an SQL database backup (.bak) for BQE CORE. This is because we are following security practices and guidelines recommended by the experts. The SQL Server data file backup includes code and proprietary settings that cannot be shared with our users.
Instead, we provide encrypted CSV backup file to you on demand for a fee. Typically, it takes 1 to 3 working days for the CSV backup data file to be uploaded to the company owner's CRM record and the download link is sent via a secured email. Please contact our Procurement Team by emailing them at procurement@bqe.com or your Sales Account Manager at BQE.
After you receive your backup file, follow the steps below to open it:
- Use file archiver applications such as 7-Zip to extract the files.
- Download the file.
- Right-click on the file and select 7-Zip > Extract files.
4. Copy and paste the password provided by our BQE Team and click OK.
5. Click Open to extract files from the folder. You can open your .csv backup files in Microsoft Excel.
