Overview
Note: Help content (except videos) has been updated to reflect the UI/UX changes in CORE.
When an opportunity arises, it is helpful for sales representatives or business development agents to classify or categorize the opportunity. The opportunities can be classified or tagged as new business, existing business or migration from another business, cross-sell or up-sell, and so on. This allows the sales agents to quickly understand what the opportunity is about and also helps in reporting by displaying a breakdown of all your open opportunities.
You can create a list of opportunity types to indicate the type of opportunities your company has. These categories help to differentiate between various types of opportunities. Click to watch this video on creating opportunity types in CORE CRM.
