When an invoice syncs from BQE CORE to QuickBooks Desktop, the payment term (such as Net 30 or Net 60) sometimes does not appear in the Terms field on the QuickBooks Desktop invoice, even though the due date syncs correctly.
This happens because CORE calculates and sends the due date during invoice sync, but does not transfer the payment term label to QuickBooks Desktop. The due date is correct because CORE calculates it based on the payment term set on the project before sending the invoice, but the term itself is not part of what gets synced. If you need the payment term to display on the invoice in QuickBooks Desktop, set the payment term directly on the customer or job record there.
Note: In some cases, the Terms field still appears populated on the QuickBooks Desktop invoice. This happens when a payment term is already set on the customer or job directly in QuickBooks, which makes it look like the term synced from CORE when it did not.
