Gantt bar colors and fill depend on the metric selected from the Timeline Metrics View menu above the chart:
- % Used (default) - The bar fills according to the percentage of allocated hours used.
- Used Hrs / Allocated Hrs - The bar fills according to the used hours as a percentage of allocated hours.
- Used Hrs / Remaining Hrs - The bar fills according to the remaining hours as a percentage of allocated hours.
Changing the selected metric changes only the bar fill and label. The bar width always represents the task's start and end dates. Phase bars appear in blue, and allocation bars appear in violet. When the selected metric exceeds 100%, the bar displays a light red track with a darker red section indicating the amount over 100%.
Project rows can also display a thinner secondary bar for % Complete, independent of the metric selected for the primary bar. The Show Project % Complete toggle in the Timeline Metrics View menu controls this option and is enabled by default. Hover over a bar to view its exact values.
