The Linked Record ID is a system-generated reference that connects each recurring transaction to its original (source) record. It acts as a link between the parent transaction and all child entries created from it.
When you create a transaction, such as an invoice or vendor bill, and set it up as a recurring (memorized) schedule, CORE automatically generates new transactions based on that schedule. Each generated transaction includes the Linked Record ID of the original transaction.
For example, if an invoice is created with ID 1001 and configured as a recurring transaction, every new invoice generated from that schedule stores 1001 as its Linked Record ID. This ensures that all recurring entries remain connected to the original source transaction.
