What is the role of the Go Live Date in fiscal year creation?

The Go Live Date represents the point when your company begins using CORE as its primary accounting system. It marks the transition from migrated historical data to standard CORE accounting activity. If the Go Live Date falls in the middle of a fiscal year, CORE splits that fiscal year at the Go Live Date instead of starting the fiscal year there. Check CORE Help Center for details.
