The Date field in the Projects > Budgets screen represents the budget creation date in BQE CORE. It identifies when the budget record was created.
This date is informational only and does not control the project start or end dates, billing periods, time entries, or expense entries. It also does not affect reporting calculations unless a report specifically references the budget creation date. If needed, you can update this date to reflect when the budget was formally approved or finalized, but changing it does not affect project financial data.
