Accepting Privacy Policy and SaaS Agreement in CORE

When you sign in to BQE CORE, you might see an Action Required message asking you to review and accept required terms and policies.

What you are asked to accept depends on your role in the CORE company:

Why are you being asked to accept these terms?

You are being asked to accept these terms to meet a SOC2 compliance (Systems and Organization Controls 2) requirement that requires all users to provide explicit consent to the policies governing the use of the software product (BQE CORE).

Although you were not previously required to explicitly accept these policies, they have governed the use of CORE since their issuance. Going forward, you will be required to accept these terms if:

  • you are a new CORE user, or
  • any changes are made to these policies

Check out all our compliances and controls on the BQE Trust Center site for details.

Why do you have to accept the Privacy Policy as a standard user?

CORE captures personally identifiable information about you, including your name and email address. You need to be aware of how this information is stored and used. For some users, privacy requirements are governed by laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union.

You might also notice references in the Privacy Policy to the collection of credit card information. These references are examples of the types of information BQE can collect. If you do not provide certain information, it is not collected. For example, an account owner might pay for a subscription using a credit card, while a standard user typically does not.

What if you do not want to accept the terms or have further questions?

Your use of BQE CORE requires acceptance of the applicable terms and policies. You can submit a support ticket to our BQE Support Team in case of any issues or questions.
