BQE CORE supports TLS 1.2

What is TLS 1.2?

Transport Layer Security (TLS) are cryptographic protocols that provide authentication and data encryption between different endpoints (e.g., a client connecting to a web server). TLS 1.2 is more secure than the previous cryptographic protocols such as SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1. Essentially, TLS 1.2 keeps data being transferred across the network more secure. At BQE Software, our servers now support the strongest version of TLS, which is TLS 1.2. We no longer support TLS 1.0 and 1.1.

BQE CORE encrypts client data using the strongest cipher suites before getting transmitted over the Internet. Encryption makes it difficult for unauthorized users to view information traveling between the computers.

What should you expect from this upgrade?

TLS 1.2 is supported by all modern browsers, desktop clients, and mobile client versions. Therefore, you won't face any compatibility issue as such. However, those of you who are still on browsers, desktop clients, and mobile clients that do not support TLS 1.1 will be locked from the CORE application. In this case, updating your browser and devices should fix the issue.

To see which browsers support TLS 1.2, check the list provided by SSL Labs. You might also want to test your current browser using the below-listed sites:
