When entering time in BQE CORE, there is a rounding off of time that happens because of an option in Settings. The Smallest time increment for time entry and Smallest time increment for start and stop time options in Settings > Time & Expenses > Time Entry lead to the rounding off of time in minutes in the Time Entries and Timers screens. However, it does not modify the actual start and end time, but rounds up the time actually added to the time entry. For example, if you set the smallest time increment to 15 minutes (0.25 hours) and Start Time = 9:00 am and Stop Time = 9:01 am, only a minute passed, but according to this setting, CORE logs the time entry as 15 minutes, not 1. If you do not want any rounding of time, set the Smallest Time Increment to 0:00.
The Smallest Time Increment is set to 15 minutes by default; however, you can set this to another time increment as needed. If you are unsure of the conversion between minutes and decimal percentage for hours, refer to the table below:
