- If you have projects with multiple phases to invoice, invoice batches are a better choice. Manual invoices can only be made against a single-level project or a single phase of a project.
- If you apply certain project rules, such as 'Prevent Time/Expense Entry', these are not applied to manual invoices and you should choose invoice batch instead.
