Locking the descriptions for time and expenses

If you want to prevent your employees from being able to edit the Description field for the time and expense entries they enter, you can do that by customizing their security permissions. This is useful for making the descriptions consistent on invoices. 

To do so, you can un-check the security options Allow edit activity description and Allow edit expense description under the Time Entry and Expense Entry drop-downs in their security profile. Check CORE Help Center for details on customizing security permissions.
