When you apply a discount on an invoice in Core, it is labeled as Discount Applied at the end of the invoice, reducing the amount due on it. If you want to change that label, you cannot do that directly in Core. However, if you export the invoice into Word, you can change the label there. To export the invoice into Word, follow these steps:
- Preview the invoice from the Invoices screen as usual.
- In the viewer, click Export and select Word from the drop-down.
- The invoice is saved in the .doc format and you can edit it in Microsoft Word.
Alternatively, you can add any information regarding the discount in the memo fields of the invoice. Check the Core Help for more details on that.
