Can we create a single payment for multiple invoices?

Yes. You can apply a payment to multiple invoices at a time in the Payments screen by clicking Auto Apply against each of them in the invoice list. You can view multiple invoices of a client or project at a time there depending on your initial selection. Check CORE Help Center for details.
