You can create your own project naming structure or format in which projects and phases are displayed in BQE CORE screens, drop-down lists, reports, and on client-facing documents such as invoice PDFs, statements, and retainers. This is configured from Settings > Projects > Project Display.
There are two sections:
- Within CORE: Controls how project and phase names appear in CORE screens, drop-down lists, and reports. As an example, if you want to show Project ID and Phase Name, select Root Project ID - Phase Name from the Project Phase drop-down.
- On Invoices and Statement PDFs: Controls how project and phase names appear on invoice PDFs, statements, and retainers. By default, this uses the same format as Within CORE. To configure a separate format for client-facing documents, uncheck Use same Project Display settings, as for Within CORE. Check CORE Help Center for details.
