How does security and role differ?

In the Employees screen, the Role field is just for reference and represents the role of employees in the company, that is, what the employee does. It is not tied to security in any way. On the other hand, the Security Profile of employees actually controls what features and screens the employees can access in BQE CORE. Check CORE Help Center for details.
