What are standard hours?

The Standard Hours per day or per week for employees in BQE CORE are very important parameters for staff management and billing. They represent the default number of hours an employee has to work in a given day (say 8 hours) or week (say 40 hours). CORE uses the standard hours per day/week for automatic overtime calculations. These are also used in the Allocation and Forecasting screen to determine the task allocation for employees.
