Unable to approve PTO requests

A user is not able to approve PTO requests in CORE despite having the security permissions to do so. Also, the time entries from approved PTOs are also not being made.  

The first issue can be resolved by refreshing your security permissions by first choosing a different security profile and then changing it back to the original one. The second issue is caused by your security being set to Time Entry > 'Allow access to entries only of projects I manage'. So if you are not managing the PTO project, the time entries won't be created. You need to get the relevant permissions for the PTO project to make that work.
