BQE CORE provides employees with secure access to their payroll information via the My Payroll screen. It serves as a self-service portal where you can view earnings, track paid time off (PTO), download pay statements, manage tax withholdings, update personal information, and set up payment preferences.
The My Payroll screen includes the following tabs:
- Overview: Displays your payroll breakdown, PTO balances, total compensation, and pay schedule details.
- Statements: Allows you to view and download your pay stubs and payroll-related documents.
- My Profile: Lets you manage personal information, tax settings, payment methods, and submitted forms.

| Take-Home Pay Breakdown | This widget displays the total amount of earnings an employee receives before any deductions are made. It further displays how gross pay is allocated into various components, including take-home pay, taxes, benefits, and other deductions. Take-Home Pay refers to the actual amount an employee receives after all mandatory and voluntary deductions have been subtracted. Taxes include federal, state, and local taxes that are withheld from the gross pay. Benefits encompass contributions toward health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits. Deductions can also cover items such as union dues, charitable contributions, or wage garnishments. This breakdown helps employees understand how their earnings are distributed and what portion of their gross pay they ultimately receive as net income. |
| Pay Schedule | Shows the dates for both current and upcoming pay periods, including the range of each pay period. It also provides information about the type of payment schedule being used, as well as the method through which payments will be made. This comprehensive view helps employees stay informed about when they can expect their pay and how it will be delivered. |
| PTO Overview | Provides a detailed overview of your Paid Time Off (PTO) hours, categorized by each specific policy type. It displays the total number of PTO hours you have accrued over time, the amount of PTO you have already used, and the remaining balance of PTO hours available for you. It includes all components such as your base salary, any bonuses you might have earned, benefits provided by your employer, and any additional earnings. Review Payroll Statements
The payroll statements serve as a comprehensive repository for all your payroll records and documents related to your compensation. Within this screen, you have the ability to review detailed information about your paystubs, ensuring that all payment details are accurate and up to date. Additionally, you can download your pay stubs whenever needed, providing you with easy access to proof of income or payment history. It also grants you access to various tax-related forms, which can be essential for filing your taxes or managing your financial records.
To review payroll statements, watch this video or follow these steps:
- Open the Statements screen from the side menu > Payroll > My Payroll.
- On the Pay Stubs tab, review the pay period details such as check date, hours worked, gross pay, net pay, and deductions. Click
next to a record to view or download the pay stub as a PDF.
- On the Other Documents tab, you can view and download payroll-related documents such as Form W-4, and use the Year filter to narrow down the list, if needed.
Manage Payroll Profile
You can view and update your payroll-related information within the My Profile section of your account. It is important to keep this information accurate and up to date. By doing so, you help ensure that your payroll is processed correctly each pay period. Additionally, maintaining accurate details guarantees that the correct amount of taxes is withheld from your paycheck, preventing any discrepancies or issues with tax filings. Furthermore, having the right information on file ensures that your payments are deposited into the correct bank account without delay or error. Regularly reviewing and updating your payroll information is a crucial step in managing your financial records effectively.
To manage your payroll profile, watch this video or follow these steps:
- Open the My Profile screen from the side menu > Payroll > My Payroll.
- In the Personal Information section, review and update your date of birth and home address. If you live and work in different states, enable Courtesy Withholding to ensure correct state tax calculations. Verify your work address to make sure payroll taxes are applied correctly. Click Continue.
- Next in the Taxes section, review and update your federal tax withholding information (Form W-4), including filing status, number of dependents, additional income, deductions, and any extra withholding amounts. Also, review your state tax settings, such as filing status, withholding allowances, and additional state withholding. Click Continue.
- In the Payment Method section, select how you want to receive your payroll. Choose Direct Deposit to have payments sent directly to your bank account or Check if you prefer a physical paycheck. If using direct deposit, enter your routing number, account number, and account type. Click Continue.
- In the last Forms section, review your submitted payroll forms, such as Form W-4. You can download or save a copy for your records if needed. Click Continue to go back to the Overview tab.
