In BQE CORE, a fiscal year is defined based on the last date of the fiscal period. This means that regardless of when the fiscal year starts, it is labeled by the year in which it ends. For example, a fiscal year starting on November 1, 2026, and ending on October 31, 2027 is considered FY 28 in CORE.
You can configure your fiscal year in the Accounting Periods screen by specifying the start and end dates. When the fiscal year is created, CORE can automatically generate monthly or custom accounting periods within that range.
