How to identify records in Zapier using CORE IDs?

When using the Find action in the BQE CORE Zapier Connector, you can locate records in CORE using one of the following identifiers, depending on your setup and data flow:

  • Integration ID: Use this when the record was created in BQE CORE via a Zap and you stored the external app’s record ID (e.g., the Customer ID from QuickBooks Online). This helps locate the record using its external system reference.
  • ID: This refers to the internal system ID assigned by BQE CORE. Use this option if you already have the record’s CORE-specific ID stored in your external system or available from a previous sync.
  • Display ID (Module ID): This is the most intuitive option for identifying records based on the display name shown in CORE, such as project codes or client names. Use this method when working with modules like Projects, Clients, or Employees. Note that this option is not available for certain modules, such as time entries or expense entries.

These identifier options ensure flexibility when locating or linking records in workflows across BQE CORE and third-party applications.
