A general journal is created on the same date as the time entry. As more time entries are added on a day, they are consolidated into the same journal. At the end of the day, a single journal is posted.
Note: The date of the time entry must always match the date of the journal entry.
If a time entry is created for a past or future date, CORE generates a journal entry using that specific time entry date. The journal date always matches the date of the associated time entry.
