How is sales forecast calculated in CRM?

In BQE CORE CRM, the forecast amount is calculated by multiplying the opportunity value by its probability percentage, providing a realistic view of your potential future revenue. 

Forecast Amount = Opportunity Probability % x Opportunity Value 

By considering the likelihood of each deal closing, this calculation offers a clearer representation of the revenue you can realistically expect, rather than merely summing the total value of all opportunities in your pipeline. Known as a weighted pipeline, this approach ensures each opportunity is valued according to its chance of closing, leading to improved forecasting and better decision-making.
