BQE CORE Community is user forum - a place to ask questions, find answers, join discussions and view announcements about CORE. All CORE users should join this group to stay up to date on CORE, connect with other users, and interact with BQE CORE experts. Click to watch a video on using CORE Community:

The CORE Community Forum consists of topic categories under which you can add relevant posts to ask questions or start a discussion. Other CORE users and BQE experts can answer questions and post comments. Posts might include tips, feature requests, or questions. Comments might include answers, observations, clarifications, or any other response that's part of a typical community discussion. Please note that you can add hyperlinks or images to posts but can’t embed videos.

Here are a few rules to follow:

  • As a community member, you need to create a user profile and sign in to read posts, add posts, and comment on posts. You must edit your profile and enter all details so that it is easier to communicate with others. By default, your CORE email pre-fills your Name and Email. You can add an Alias with your full name and job title/company.
  • This community is for CORE users. You should have an active CORE subscription to participate in this community. 
  • No spam will be tolerated. You will be removed from the forum if you post spam, offensive language, or inappropriate images.
  • Be respectful, courteous and helpful to one another.
  • A good, light-hearted sense of humor is welcome.

Benefits of BQE CORE Community

The main benefits of having this user forum are:

  • You can stay up to date by accessing company news and product announcements firsthand without any delays.
  • This forum is well-organized and accessible, making it easy for all CORE users to join and participate in discussions. It allows for discussions to be categorized by a range of topics such as Tips & Tricks, Feature Requests, Announcements, Accounting, etc.
  • It allows you to communicate with BQE experts and connect with other CORE users—seek suggestions, tips, and answers to questions.
  • It allows you to search content and apply filters in the Posts list view. You can follow posts, members and their comments, vote on posts, and getting notified about them via email. 
  • You can share a link to a comment on an article or a post to point users to the exact answer or solution using the Permalink Copy-Paste option. 
  • This content is searchable and accessible from within your BQE CORE account via the Help menu > BQE CORE Resource Center.
  • You get an alternative channel of seeking support besides phone or other technical support.

Create Posts on Community

To create a post, watch this video or follow these steps:

  1. Access CORE Community from within CORE by going to Help > CORE Resource Center > Support Resources > CORE Community. Alternatively, you can go to the CORE Help Center and click on Community.

  2. On the CORE Community page, click New Post. Alternatively, you can select a topic first and then click New Post there.

  3. Enter a title for your post and details about your question or suggestion. You can format the text as needed and even include a link or image.

  4. Select the appropriate topic from the drop-down for your post and click Submit to finish.

Note: If your post is about a new feature that you would want to have in CORE, make sure you select the Feature Requests topic. This helps us get the request to our Product Team faster. 

Follow Topics and Posts in Community

You can follow relevant topics, posts and even comments on CORE Community. This allows you to get notified via email about any new posts or comments in that thread. As an example, you can follow the Tips & Tricks topic of CORE Community to stay up-to-date on new topics being posted about CORE. 

To follow a topic or post on CORE Community, watch this video or follow these steps:

  1. Access CORE Community from within CORE by going to Help > CORE Resource Center > Support Resources > CORE Community. Alternatively, you can go to the CORE Help Center and click on Community.1.png

  2. On the CORE Community page, open any topic, say General Discussions.

  3. Here, you can choose to follow the topic so that whenever there is a new post or an update regarding this topic, you are notified via email. Announcements and Tips & Tricks are great topics to follow to stay up to date with CORE and learn some of the not-so-obvious tips. 
  4. You can also click on individual posts and follow them as well. It allows you to choose whether to follow just the new posts or new posts and comments. You will receive email notifications whenever the thread gets updated. Upvote or downvote a post or comment if you find it helpful or unhelpful so that others can know about it.

Submit Feature Requests on Community

All our users who join CORE Community can post feature requests and provide other feedback under the Feature Requests topic. This topic is tracked by the Product Team besides the email channel (Core-Ideas@bqe.com). Both are ways of sending product-related feedback and requests.  

To submit a feature request, watch this video or follow these steps:

  1. Access CORE Community from within CORE by going to Help > CORE Resource Center > Support Resources > CORE Community. Alternatively, you can go to the CORE Help Center and click on Community.

  2. On the CORE Community page, select the topic, Feature Requests.

  3. On the Feature Requests page, click New Post. 
  4. Enter a title for your request and provide all the relevant details. You can format the text as needed and even include a link or image.

  5. If not already pre-filled, select the Feature Requests topic from the drop-down for your post and click Submit to finish.
