In case of credit cards and debit transactions, the ePayments funds are typically available in your checking account faster than the ACH deposits.
First-time disbursement: It takes 7 business days to get ePayments funds in your account. Credit card transactions will be a day faster than ACH as those transactions settle immediately in your merchant account. There is a 5 business day security delay for new merchants. This delay affects the first disbursement and any other disbursements that are due to be paid out until the first disbursement clears.
Subsequent disbursements: It takes 1-2 business days for credit cards and 3-5 business days for ACH to get ePayments funds in your account. Credit card transactions will be faster than ACH as those transactions settle immediately into your merchant account. Subsequent disbursements do not have any security delay, but they do have a one day settlement period for the transactions.
The payment transaction then changes from Pending to Authorized to Complete and you are notified about that. In case of eCheck payments or ACH transactions, the processing time is dependent on the payer's bank. Like credit card payments, eCheck transactions immediately update to the Approved status when successfully submitted.
