What is the difference between a pay stub and a paycheck?

Pay Stub is a detailed statement about an employee’s paycheck, including their gross wages, taxes and other deduction amounts, and the employee’s take home, or net pay. On the other hand, paycheck is the section of the employee’s pay stub that can be exchanged for cash or deposited in a bank account.
