Do I need to include contract amount for fixed fee projects?

It is not required to have a contract amount for fixed-fee projects. However, we highly recommend entering that amount so as to track your project costs and profitability. In case of an internal, non-billable project, you can use the Overhead contract type with no contract amount. Check out the Core Help for more on project contract types.
