How do you assign time to previously created invoice?

From the Time Entries screen, view the entries by project and select the appropriate project. From the available time entries, select those you want to associate with an existing invoice and do a batch update from the Actions menu. On the Batch Update screen, select Invoice and choose the appropriate invoice from the drop-down options and click Update when done. This associates the time entries to an existing invoice. This is usually done in case of progress billing.
