Setting default account for bill payments

When making bill payments, you do not have to select a bank account every time in the Create Bill Payment screen if you set a default account in Global Settings. Go to Global Settings > Accounting and under Default Accounts > Bank Accounts, select an account for Pay Bills. Click Save. Core selects this account by default in the Create Bill Payment screen the next time you make bill payments. Check the Core Help for details.
