Income account not visible when adding new activity

User is trying to create a new activity item in Core, but the relevant income account is not listed in the drop-down.

It is possible that the income account you want to use has an Inactive status. Inactive accounts do not show up in the drop-down lists. To select the income account for an activity item, you first need to make sure that it has an Active status. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Chart of Accounts screen and click on the income account you want to use.
  2. In the Edit Account screen, make sure the field Status is set to Active.
  3. Click Save.

This income account should now be visible when creating new activity items.
