Why can't I run reports in Core?

This is because of your security permissions. The Security screen is where the Owner/Admin user of your Core company account can grant the relevant report permissions to you (logged-in user). You must have the Reports > Allow Read permission enabled to be able to run reports. Check the Core Help for details.
